Account Executive

This is a full-time sales position.  The Sales Professional is responsible for generating new sales from new customers.  This position is ideally suited for individuals with high drive and desire whom are new to sales and need opportunity and training.

Compensation: This is a commission sales position with a monthly base salary.   We offer a great training plan, a great commission plan and fantastic health benefits.

Reports Directly To:  Sales Manager

Reports Indirectly To:  Service Manager

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Make prospecting calls (cold calls) – daily

  • build referral sources – ongoing

  • quote new business (with assistance) – ongoing

  • complete sales reports – ongoing

  • create prospect lists – ongoing

  • implement a prospecting system – ongoing

  • attend weekly sales meeting – weekly

  • attend weekly company meeting – weekly

  • follow up on closed sales – ongoing

  • attend sales training – weekly

  • attend product training – as required

  • acquire – and close new business – ongoing

  • perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned – ongoing

Standards and Measurement of Performance

The person in this position will meet or exceed company expectations with regard to:

  • Monthly sales goals as measured by signed contracts.

  • Amount of Gross Profit you generate

A Typical Day for our Sales Professional is:

  • Begin day by 8:00 AM at the Sure Systems Office

  • Prepare new prospect and follow-up list.  Track and journal

  • Conduct prospecting activities (cold calls, networking, etc.) as needed to reach goals.

  • Listen to prospects.  Learn what their current problems are with their current Information Technology (IT)  Discover what their pains are

  • Follow up with prospects on prior proposals.

  • Communicate with the Network Operations Centre (NOC) on pending jobs

  • Input activities into our CRM

  • Communicate with co-workers and management effectively.

Our Training Program Consists of:

We have a detailed training schedule set out for our sales people including industry information, sales process information and buyer-psychology information.  We spend the first 45 days with each new salesperson personally training and orienting them to our business.  After that, they have the opportunity to participate in an outside training program which we pay for.
